This is a big day for me.  Sharing my first newborn shoot.  Thank you so much to Nate and Laura for trusting me to take pictures of your sweet little boy.  He is such a good baby.

There is something so baffling/inspiring/weird/awesome about your friends becoming parents.  Owen is lucky to be blessed with great, great, great parents, and I'm so excited for this family of three. 
I'm also very excited about something else.  

I'm officially starting a portrait photography business.

There.
I said it.
OUT LOUD.
 
 Life is crazy.  I had no idea this was in my path.  But, I love it.  I'm passionate about it.  And I just want to keep doing it.
Andrew has been so supportive.  Even though he likes to remind me not to quit my day job anytime soon.  Ha.

I'm going for it. 

There's still work to be done, but today I'm debuting my first Alison Moore Photography portraits.

And it feels really, really good.
