Happy Soggy 4th

Not sure about all of you, but our 4th of July holiday weekend was grey.  The sun didn't come out after Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon.  And even then it was just for a bit.  We had lots of rain so our plans of spending our holiday poolside were canceled.  Boo.

We did make it out to a local organic peach farm north of Wichita on Saturday afternoon during a break in the rain.  Our realtor's parents are the owners so we got a private tour, and Andrew thought it was really cool to learn about a new type of farming.  Go figure.  :)

Don't these look tasty?  They were delicious!  So much better fresh than the peaches at the store.

Other than that, our weekend was pretty uneventful since I spent almost all day on Sunday working on my credenza.

Uneventful if you don't count Andrew got to pick his first tomato of the season!

He got these plants free from Home Depot since they weren't looking too good, and they were going to throw them out - what a bargain shopper - and we've been waiting patiently for them to grow and ripen.  How exciting!  It tasted great on our burgers Sunday night.

Hope you all enjoyed a safe and fun holiday weekend!
